• India and Jordan mark 75 years of diplomatic relations.

Jordan

• Location: Southern Levant region of West Asia
• Capital: Amman
• Borders: Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the West Bank.
• Bordering Waterbodies: Jordan has on the Gulf of Aqaba (Red Sea) on its western border, where Al-ʿAqabah, its only port. It also has a border with the Dead Sea.
• River: Jordan River
• Geographical Features: Jordan Valley (the northwest portion of the great East African Rift System) and Wadi Rum Desert.
