  • The teaching of Dhrupad is very closely tied to the ancient system ofguru-shishya Parampara.
  • Musical instruments used are Pakhawaj for percussion, the Tanpura for drone, and stringed instruments like the Rudra Veena, Surbahar, or Sursringar.
