Federalism is a form of government in which the central government and regional governments agree to share power. The federalism in India is not the pure form but quasi-federalism in which the centre has more power than the states.

What is confederalism?

  •  When a group of sovereign states come together to protect their defence, foreign policy and resources. EU is an example.
