- What is it?: It is a condition in which the tiny water droplets or ice crystals remain suspended near the Earth’s surface.
- Formation: Fog forms when air near the surface cools to its dew point or when moisture is added to the air.
- Aerosols and Their Relation with Fog
- What are aerosols?: Aerosols are tiny solid or liquid particles suspended in the atmosphere for example dust, smoke, soot, pollen.
- Relation with Fog: Aerosols act as Condensation Nuclei (CN).
