  • Border Countries: Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the West Bank.
  • Bordering Waterbodies: Jordan has the Gulf of Aqaba (Red Sea)in the south, where Al-ʿAqabah is its only port. It also has a border with the Dead Sea.
  • River: Jordan River
  • Geographical Features: Jordan Valley (the northwest portion of the great East African Rift System) and Wadi Rum Desert.
