Name of Festival Features
Mahavir Jayanti It is held to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira who was the 24th Tirthankara.
Paryushana It is celebrated for eight days in the month of Bhadrapada (August/September) by the Svetambara sect. 

The Digambara sect celebrates the festival for ten days.

Mahamastakabhisheka It is held once in 12 years in the town of Shravanabelagola in Karnataka. This festival is the holy bathing ceremony of 57 ft high statue of Siddha Bahubali, son of Rishabhdev.
